Statement on Accessibility for the “Taste of Home” Project

Updated as of February 29, 2024

We are dedicated to enhancing accessibility to ensure that individuals with disabilities and special needs can fully utilize and enjoy our website.

Approximately a quarter of the population in Israel encounters challenges accessing the internet, including the visually impaired, hearing impaired, individuals with motor disabilities, the elderly, and others.

To provide an optimal, professional, and accessible service to all users, we have implemented necessary adjustments to our website and adhered to accessibility guidelines in accordance with Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services), 2013-2013 (Mark C’: Internet Services).

Our website’s accessibility is optimized for leading browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer 9 and above.

Significant resources have been invested to enhance our website’s usability and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. We firmly believe that every individual deserves to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

We offer an advanced website accessibility component operated by a dedicated accessibility server. This software enables the site to improve compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

The accessibility menu can be activated by clicking on the accessibility menu icon located in the corner of the page. This menu, along with the site’s technology, provides numerous options.

Our ongoing efforts to enhance website accessibility underscore our commitment to ensuring usability for the entire population, including individuals with disabilities and special needs. While we strive to make all pages accessible, you may encounter sections that have not yet been optimized.

If you encounter accessibility challenges while browsing our site, we encourage you to contact us with inquiries, suggestions for improvement, or reports of issues related to accessibility or general browsing difficulties.
