In a bowl, mix well the wet ingredients – buttermilk, oil and eggs. In a separate bowl, mix well the dry ingredients – flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.

Keith Siegal (64)

Keith and his wife Aviva (Adrienne) came to Israel from the United States, believing in the Jewish state. They met in Israel and fell in love. The couple have four children and five grandchildren.

Keith immigrated forty years ago, directly to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, and there Keith and Aviva built their lives. Keith is an occupational therapist, a calm person and an optimist.

Keith is an exemplary father and grandfather, loves family trips in nature, he always has a loving smile, and is always surrounded by family.

On October 7, Keith and his wife Aviva were taken hostage and driven to Gaza in their car. Aviva was released as part of the hostage release deal. Keith remained abducted in Gaza and we are still waiting for Keith and his calm smile to return.
